Content Elements

Open the block and select the Content tab.

Use Add element to create a new element. The same element type may be added multiple times.

Heading

The Heading element provides:

  • Plain heading text
  • Heading level H1 through H6
  • Theme color or custom color
  • Optional link
  • Optional new-window behavior
  • Width and visibility settings

The Heading element does not provide partial formatting within the heading. Use a Rich Text element when inline formatting is required.

Text / Rich Text

The Text element uses the Concrete CMS rich-text editor configured for the website.

Available features depend on the site's editor configuration and may include:

  • Paragraph and heading formatting
  • Bold and italic text
  • Lists
  • Internal page links
  • File links
  • Text colors
  • Other enabled editor plugins

User-entered rich text is stored with Concrete CMS link abstraction so page and file references can be managed by the CMS.

Image

The Image element provides:

  • Image from the file manager
  • Optional hover or on-state image
  • Alternative text
  • Optional title attribute
  • Lazy loading
  • Responsive, full-size, or constrained sizing
  • Maximum width and height
  • Optional cropping for raster images
  • Optional link
  • Width and visibility settings

Icon

The Icon element uses the Concrete CMS icon picker.

Options include:

  • Icon
  • Size from 8 to 240 pixels
  • Theme or custom color
  • Accessible label
  • Optional link
  • Width and visibility settings

Leave the accessible label empty only when the icon is purely decorative and does not communicate information.

Button

The Button element provides:

  • Button text
  • Regular, outline, or link presentation
  • Small, normal, or large size
  • Optional icon
  • Icon before or after the text
  • Theme or custom color
  • Optional link
  • Optional new-window behavior
  • Width and visibility settings

Multiple buttons can be placed directly in the content list or combined inside a group.

Spacer

Spacer options include:

  • Small
  • Medium
  • Large
  • Custom

Custom spacer height supports values from 0 to 300 pixels.

Divider

Divider options include:

  • Width: 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%
  • Thickness: 1 to 20 pixels
  • Style: solid, dashed, or dotted
  • Alignment: start, center, or end
  • Space before and after
  • Theme or custom color
  • Width and visibility settings
