Hero Image PLUS 1.0.4 — Marketplace Release Notes

Marketplace review update for Hero Image PLUS.

This release preserves the existing frontend output and content-builder functionality while addressing Marketplace review feedback.

Changes in version 1.0.4:

• Replaced direct PHP require() calls with the Concrete CMS block-view inc() method.
• Simplified the package upgrade routine so existing block types are refreshed by the Concrete CMS core upgrade process.
• Added the Concrete CMS Spectrum color picker for custom full-overlay, content-overlay, heading, icon, button, and divider colors.
• Added explicit client-side and server-side string-length and numeric-range constraints for editable values.
• Added additional validation for links, anchors, identifiers, file access, image settings, item structure, and color values.
• Removed bundled translation files so translations can be maintained and released independently through the Concrete CMS translation system.
• Retained the existing sortable content elements, responsive groups, overlay modes, alignment templates, image behavior, and optional parallax functionality.

Requirements:

• Concrete CMS 9.5.0 or newer within the 9.x line
• PHP 8.2 or newer
• Bootstrap 5-compatible frontend theme
