Mega Menu Configuration

Each supported top-level page can use one of three navigation behaviors:

• Direct link
• Standard dropdown
• Mega menu

Direct Link

The page remains a normal link. No child navigation is displayed below it.

Standard Dropdown

The child pages use the normal dropdown behavior and styling of the active theme.

Mega Menu

The child pages are displayed in a wider, structured desktop menu.

Columns

Mega menus support:

• Automatic column count
• Two columns
• Three columns
• Four columns

Automatic mode selects a suitable column count based on the available child navigation.

The column count controls layout, not the number of pages. Additional items wrap or continue within the available structure.

Page Metadata

Package-specific page attributes can enhance mega-menu entries.

Navigation Icon

Displays a supported icon next to the page.

Navigation Description

Displays a short supporting description below or beside the page name.

Highlight Navigation Entry

Marks the entry as specially highlighted.

Hide Child Pages

Displays the page but prevents its child pages from being rendered by Top Navigation Bar PLUS.

Custom CSS Class

Adds a sanitized custom class that can be targeted by a site-specific stylesheet.

Optional Stack Content

One Concrete CMS stack can be displayed inside a desktop mega menu.

The block checks stack and block permissions before rendering the content. Localized stack variants are used when available.

Stack content is hidden in the mobile navigation to preserve the compact standard dropdown behavior.

Blocks contained in the stack may load their own CSS and JavaScript assets.
