Requirements

Top Navigation Bar PLUS requires:

• Concrete CMS 9.5.0 or newer within the 9.x release line
• A Bootstrap 5-compatible frontend theme

Community Store 2.7.0 or newer is optional and is required only when cart features are enabled.

Installation

1. Download the package archive.
2. Extract the archive if required.
3. Copy the top_navigation_bar_plus directory into the /packages directory of the Concrete CMS installation.
4. Sign in as an administrator.
5. Open Dashboard > Extend Concrete.
6. Find Top Navigation Bar PLUS.
7. Select Install.
8. Add the Top Navigation Bar PLUS block to the required page area or global stack.

Only one primary navigation header should normally be displayed in the same location. Remove or disable another top-navigation block when it would otherwise produce a duplicate header.

Updating

1. Back up the website files and database.
2. Replace the existing /packages/top_navigation_bar_plus directory with the new package version.
3. Open Dashboard > Extend Concrete.
4. Run the available package update.
5. Clear the Concrete CMS cache.
6. Reload the frontend.

Existing block configurations are preserved during a normal package update.

Uninstallation

Removing the package also removes its installed block type and package-specific configuration. Create a backup before uninstalling when existing block configurations may be needed later.
