Navigation Source
The block builds its page navigation from the selected parent page and its descendants.
The generated navigation respects:
- Page permissions
- Exclude from Nav
- Exclude Subpages from Nav
- The configured maximum depth
- Package-specific child-page settings
Pages that are excluded from navigation do not appear in standard dropdowns or mega menus.
Editing Considerations
Changes to the sitemap, page permissions, navigation attributes, or page names can affect the generated navigation without requiring the block to be recreated.
