Automatic Email Obfuscator

Spam is a nuisance. A lot of spam is sent to email addresses that are scraped or harvested from publicly visible addresses found in web pages. Robots or "bots" are constantly looking for new addresses to use.

This addon attempts to solve this issue by examining your page output prior to it being sent to the browser, and substituting javascript code for any email address, making the address appear as something other than the user@domain format. Thus the simple scraping of the web page used by bots does not reveal any email addresses in the content and your email addresses are not harvested.

This is an updated version of the older Automatic Email Obfuscator package, and works with PHP 8.x and Concrete CMS 9+
